Chain Reaction: 1652 W. Lincoln Ave. Anaheim, CA 92801

As said in an article by OC Weekly, “Chain Reaction is the CBGB of the left coast.” Opening back in 1996 Chain Reaction has been home to live hardcore/punk rock music in the OC.
Being one of the smaller venues, Chain Reaction’s viewing area is a long narrow strip that will leave your ears ringing until the next day. This is one of the few venues that encourages stage diving.
You won’t find a venue in the OC or even in LA that brings a more intimate vibe between the artist and audience.
Some upcoming shows include: Stick to Your Guns, Nihilitus, and Lies The Path.
The Observatory OC: 3503 S. Harbor Blvd. Santa Ana, CA 92704

Looking for more of a wide variety of music and some of the top artists on the billboards for a decent price? Observatory OC is the perfect venue for someone with a wide range of music interests.
The Observatory is one of the bigger music venues in the area that has two separate rooms with concerts going on simultaneously, this is the closest place to see a big name artist. The prices are good too, you can enjoy your night without breaking the bank.
The Observatory has hosted artists such as Weezer, Skream, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
The Yost: 307 N. Spurgeon St. Santa Ana, CA 92701

The Yost also has a wide variety of genres but it is a great spot to see local EDM artists. Some of the benefits of the venue are that it is located in Downtown Santa Ana Historic District, with multiple bars and eateries around.
The Yost has a full bar inside as well as a patio bar for those that need a breather from the inside.
Some upcoming shows include Mac Ayres, Sinead Harnett, and Cashmere Cat.
