  1. Fruit Picking at Riley’s Farm

 

From strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, and pears, Riley’s Farm has a ton of choices for you to pick from. This farm is a cute family-friendly way to enjoy some fresh air while gathering the goods for a nice fruity treat to take home with you.

 

Fruit picking on a first-come, first-served basis

Berries $5 half-pint, $7 pint; Pears $3 per pound; Apples $3.50 per pound

  1. Pumpkin Patch at the Irvine Park Railroad

 

There’s a reason that the pumpkin spice latte is an iconic autumn drink. Nothing says fall more than a classic pumpkin patch. Choose from tiny pumpkins as small as your hand to pumpkins larger than a full belly after Thanksgiving dinner. Pumpkins from $6-$10. This pumpkin patch has other fun activities including hayrides, carnival games, cookie decorating, pumpkin decorating, hay maze, insta-worthy picture stands, and more!

 

Admission is free, activities cost $6 each

  1. The 17th Door Haunted House

 

Looking for a scare? Hold your boo close as you encounter ghostly creatures in this haunted house. This year at the 17th Door, visitors return to the Perpetuum Penitentiary with the story of Paula. Watch out for the tortuous Prison staff as they are using new and unorthodox methods of punishment.

 

Beware of public filming! By entering the madness you are agreeing to be featured in a feature-length documentary/ reality-tv show.

 

Admission $25-$33 per ticket depending on date selection

  1. Phantom Carriage Brewery and Blendery

 

Enjoy this spooky taproom inspired by Halloween and horror aesthetics. Want some creepy cuisine? Try the Phantom Carriage’s Jack-Lantern Sliders, Butcher Fries, or The Blaire Wedge. This taproom is one for all Halloween lovers with an appetite for a variety of brews and cocktails.

  1. Oktoberfest at the Fairplex

Do you hear that? A fun night of Bavarian-themed grooves, brews and chews are calling. Oktoberfest returns October 4 and will be celebrated every Friday and Saturday from 6 pm-12 am until October 19. This is a 21+ event where ride-shares are strongly encouraged. A valid form of ID is required for entrance, and no exceptions will be made. Cheers!
