Here are five must-visit restaurants within a mile of CSUF.

Shorty’z

The closest thing to a mom and pop diner you can find near campus, it serves American classics like chocolate pancakes and Denver omelets. Acting as the perfect cure for your late nights, the breakfast spot is open everyday of the week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1631 N. Placentia Ave. Fullerton, CA 92831.

Thai Basil

Craving Pad Thai? You’re best option is to go to this spot that is in the same shopping center as the Dollar Tree and Panera. With dishes ranging from fried rice to spicy soups, everyone is guaranteed to find something they will enjoy. It’s open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 2431 E. Chapman Ave. Fullerton, CA 92831.

Pepe’s

Founded by three brothers, this restaurant is the perfect quick-fix to your Mexican food cravings. Their breakfast menu is served all day, along with a variety of classic Mexican dishes and chili fries. Stop by 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday- Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at 821 N. Placentia Ave. Fullerton, CA 92831.

Phở Olivia

Phở Olivia (a.k.a. Olivia’s Bistro) offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine, including rice noodle soup, rice vermicelli, garlic egg noodle and salad. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 2466 E Chapman Ave.

Noodle Street
